The Organic Center Confluences Summit

Monday, May 21, 2018 - 9:00am to Tuesday, May 22, 2018 - 5:30pm

The Organic Center’s 2018 Organic Confluences Summit will take place Monday and Tuesday, May 21-22, at the Hall of the States, Washington, D.C. The Organic Confluences Summit  is held in conjunction with Organic Week D.C.

The 2018 event is all about advancing the transfer of knowledge to support organic food and farming. The conference brings together organic stakeholders to examine ways to improve research communication among farmers, scientists, extension agents, industry members and key policy influencers. Scientists from across the United States will present the latest research on how organic farming practices benefit soil health, water quality, biodiversity, and pollinators, and can contribute to climate change mitigation. To see some of the highlights presented at last year's summit, visit The Organic Center's website. Please contact Tracy Misiewicz, The Organic Center's Associate Director of Science Programs, with questions.
