NOSB Fall Meeting
Wednesday, October 13, 2021 - 9:00am to Thursday, October 21, 2021 - 5:00pm The NOSB Fall Meeting will be taking place October 13-21, 2021 in Sacramento, CA.
The NOSB will meet to discuss substances petitioned for addition to or deletion from the National List of Allowed and Prohibited Substances (National List), substances due to sunset from the National List in 2023, and recommendations on organic policies. Please visit the NOSB Meetings page for further information and instructions.
The National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) typically meets twice per year in various locations around the United States. During meetings, the NOSB listens to public comments, discusses agenda items, and then votes on recommendations to the Secretary in a public forum. Detailed meeting information, including agendas, location, proposals and how to participate will be posted below as it becomes available.

Future of Organic Workshop: Certifiers only
Wednesday, October 27, 2021 - 1:00pm to 5:00pm It has been 30 years since the Organic Foods Production Act was signed into law and while the organic sector has made many advancements, there is still much to be done to ensure the continued success of the organic movement and truly achieve the gold standard in food systems. The Organic Trade Association and the Swette Center for Sustainable Food Systems at Arizona State University led by Dr. Kathleen Merrigan are embarking on a partnership to bring together a diverse coalition of stakeholders that are vested in the continued success and growth of organic.
This workshop is hosted in partnership with Accredited Certifiers Association.
