The Sustainable Foods Summit will discuss approaches to move to circularity in the food industry. How can regenerative agriculture and biodiversity-friendly practices be encouraged? What is the role of upcycling? What new packaging materials are emerging for circularity? Such questions will be addressed in this North American edition. 

Since 2009, the Sustainable Foods Summit has been covering leading sustainability issues in the food industry. Organized by Ecovia Intelligence, the summit now takes place in the major geographic regions. Other editions are hosted in Europe (4-5 July, Amsterdam), the Asia-Pacific (Singapore), and Latin America (São Paulo).

Levers to Change Consumer Behavior 

It is argued that consumer behavior needs to change if the food industry is to become truly sustainable. Consumers need to be encouraged to make sustainable choices, as well as to use and dispose of food & packaging responsibly. The panel will debate changing consumer behavior. How can customers be nudged to make green decisions and be more responsible.

Gulfood

Gulfood is the largest food and beverage trade show in the Gulf Region and is among the largest food and beverage trade shows in the world. OTA companies repeatedly report strong success in attending Gulfood; the demand for organic products continues to grow rapidly in the U.A.E. and surrounding region. 

The deadline to register for Gulfood 2024 is November 3rd.

Registration for new participants and returning participants is $1200.00.

Your Registration Includes:

  • Roundtrip airfare to/from Dubai for 1 person from your company booked through OTA’s travel agent
  • Hotel stay for 1 person from your company for the duration of the event at the OTA group hotel, walking distance from the Dubai World Expo
  • A countertop in the OTA pavilion for you to display your products, inclusive of logo graphics
  • Shared translators in the OTA booth throughout the show  
  • On-site show support  
  • Please note any shipping of materials to the show is at your own cost, though OTA will help you coordinate shipping logistics

You are expected to arrive in Dubai on February 17th or 18th and have a company representative at your countertop for the duration of the show. Please note we are asking companies not to participate in both BioFach and Gulfood to allow for as many companies as possible to take advantage of OTA international events.
