About the Organic Trade Association

The Organic Trade Association (OTA) is the membership-based business association for organic agriculture and products in North America. OTA is the leading voice for the organic trade in the United States, representing over 9,500 organic businesses across 50 states. Its members include growers, shippers, processors, certifiers, farmers' associations, distributors, importers, exporters, consultants, retailers, and others. Our member businesses work together through networking, advocacy, and other initiatives to encourage and protect organic farming practices and to share messages about the positive environmental and nutritional attributes of organic products with consumers, the media, and policymakers.

We are a connected community of innovators and pioneers working to shape the future for organic food and farming. Together, with our members, we are focused on solutions.

The Organic Trade Association and Organic Center are looking for a marketing coordinator to support virtual and in-person event marketing efforts, and to provide general support for the communications team. We are looking for an organized and digitally savvy team member who can help execute the marketing plans for all engagement opportunities– both virtual and in-person.

  • Coordinates sponsor recognition and benefits fulfillment related to marketing campaigns (logo sourcing, inclusion on marketing materials), as well as registrant concierge (comp/guest tickets, registration adjustments, payments/invoicing follow up) as needed for in-person and virtual events
  • Provides general support for the communications team – such as assisting staff with admin communications needs (such as document formatting, presentation support, web updates, tech support on webinars and virtual meetings, etc.) as needed.

Qualifications

  • 3 or more years managing events, marketing, technical and/or related work
  • Eager to learn new technologies and develop streamlined systems for process improvement
  • Experience working in digital marketing and event platforms like CVENT, Mailchimp, Zoom, Salesforce or equivalent systems
