The Organic Trade Association and The Organic Center (OTA/TOC) collects and uses data supplied by our members and participants [event registrations; membership applications; certifications; etc]. At events, photos and videos may be taken during the event and used for promotional and communication purposes. We do not sell data to third parties of any kind (see our Data Policy) or share sensitive data (e.g. emails, payment information, etc) outside of our staff or member volunteers (ie council leaders, advocacy team leaders, etc). Some data provided to us by our members [e.g. facility district location, product details, annual revenue, etc.) is used to further the Mission of the Organic Trade Association and The Organic Center and may be used for express OTA/TOC purposes by:
- Member Communities Participants (Councils, Task Forces, etc.),
- OTA Government Affairs employees and consultants
- OTA/TOC Events Planners, Vendors, and Participants
- OTA/TOC Communications Dept. (e.g. Photos of members from Events, Annual Meeting, etc.)
- Grant Applications
- Other efforts OTA/TOC deems suitable in accordance with its Mission
By attending an Event, becoming an OTA Member, or partnering with OTA/TOC you are acknowledging how OTA/TOC uses your data to further its mission and complete its goals on behalf of its members.
