Allen Shainsky

The late Allen B. Shainsky, who helped found Petaluma Poultry, was selected posthumously as a Special Pioneer for his outstanding contributions to the organic industry over his lifetime. Mr. Shainsky, who died in June 2000 was thoroughly committed to excellence in his business practices, in his poultry husbandry techniques, and in support of the natural and organic food movements.
