The Organic Trade Association Dairy Council brings together farmers, handlers, processors, and manufacturers to discuss ideas around promotion, research, and education; to vocalize the benefits of the sector; to identify opportunities for continuous improvements and advance solutions; and to advocate for dairy policy in alignment with the Organic Trade Association's policy process.

How to Join the Council and Eligibility Requirements

In order to be eligible to join the Council, you must be an Organic Trade Association member.  If you are an OTA member interested in joining the Dairy Council, please reach out to Danielle Cote.

If you are not an Organic Trade Association member, we welcome you to join the Organic Trade Association as a member.  The Organic Trade Association is a membership-based business association for organic agriculture and products in North America.  The Organic Trade Association is the leading voice for the organic trade in the United States, representing over 10,000 organic businesses across 50 states.  Its members include growers, shippers, processors, certifiers, farmers' associations, distributors, importers, exporters, consultants, retailers, and others. To learn more about the benefits of OTA membership and how to join, contact Danielle Cote.

Are you a small-to-medium-sized farmer? You may be eligible to join the Organic Trade Association as a farmstead member and receive full OTA membership benefits and voting rights for only $50 per year.  This membership category is for small-scale organic farmers with annual organic sales less than $250,000 who are also current members of one of the participating organizations in the Organic Trade Association’s Farmers Advisory Council.
