Britt Lundgren is the Senior Director of Sustainability and Government Affairs at Stonyfield. She has over fifteen years of experience working to advance agricultural sustainability through policy and supply chain initiatives, and is a passionate advocate for organic agriculture with expertise in both policy and supply chain initiatives.

A former senior Republican Senate staffer, T.A. knows what it takes to successfully navigate DC. Since arriving at Monument in 2015, he has helped clients understand the current political environment while providing expertise on appropriations, agriculture, nutrition, transportation, and defense issues. Previously, T.A. worked for former Senator Thad Cochran (R-MS) as the Republican Staff Director of the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry, where he helped develop, negotiate, and pass the five-year reauthorization of federal agriculture and nutrition assistance programs collectively known as the Farm Bill. T.A. previously held senior staff roles such as Chief of Staff and Legislative Director for Cochran when he was the Chairman and Ranking Member of the Senate Appropriations Committee. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee. 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Melinda Cep | Vice President, Natural Solutions and Working Lands | The National Audubon Society

Melinda Cep serves as the vice president for natural solutions and working lands at the National Audubon Society. In this new role for Audubon, she works to improve bird habitat and advance natural climate solutions across private and public lands. Prior to joining Audubon, Dr. Cep served as the legislative and policy director for the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Agriculture. Before her time with the Committee, Cep held multiple senior leadership positions at the US Department of Agriculture, served as senior director of markets and food policy at the World Wildlife Fund, and worked for Congresswoman DeLauro. Melinda grew up on a small farm on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.  She holds a doctor of veterinary medicine from Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, and received a fellowship from the American Veterinary Medical Association/American Association for the Advancement of Science.
