Daniella Velazquez de Leon | General Manager | Organic's Unlimited
Daniella Velazquez de Leon is the general manager of Organics Unlimited, where she's responsible for the success of day-to-day operations across sales and distribution, logistics, and production entities. Daniella is the newest generation of this family business: the fourth generation of organic growers in her family and the third generation of organic banana wholesalers. Organic Unlimited primarily imports top-quality bananas from farms deep in the soil of Mexico.
Bill Green | Executive Director | The Common Market Southeast
Bill currently serves as the Executive Director of The Common Market Southeast, a non-profit food aggregator and distributor based in East Point, GA. Previously, Bill worked at The Kroger Co. for 18 years in various roles including Vice President of Operations, Legal Counsel, District Manager and Store Manager. Bill is a graduate of Howard University where he obtained his bachelor's degree in business management and the University of Kentucky where he earned his juris doctorate. Bill and his wife Kristy have three adult children, Taylor, William IV and Ethan and one granddaughter, Laila.
Matt Landi | CEO | Vermont Way Foods
Prior to joining Vermont Way Foods, Matt started his career in produce and natural foods in NW Vermont, with impactful stints at Healthy Living Market and Onion River Cooperative before moving to the west coast and continuing his education in larger food system dynamics.
During his time on the west coast, Matt worked in retail with New Leaf Community Markets, a 9-store grocery chain in Santa Cruz, California, including a stint as Director of Produce. Matt also held roles in both distribution, as Director of Account Management for Organically Grown Company in Portland, Oregon, and in leadership for an independent, organic focused company that represents growers stateside and internationally, as VP & General Manager for Awe Sum Organics, also based in Santa Cruz.
With this work, Matt has been grateful for many other opportunities, including spending time as a food and agriculture columnist for the Santa Cruz Sentinel, serving as the BOD Chair for OMRI (Organic Materials Review Institute), as BOD President for the SFTA (Sustainable Food Trade Association) and as a BOD member for the Homeless Garden Project (Santa Cruz, CA).
Ryan Zinn | Regenerative Projects Manager | Dr. Bronners Magic Soaps
Ryan Zinn manages Dr. Bronner’s international organic, fair and regenerative supply chains in Africa, Asia and the Pacific. Ryan has worked for over 20 years with small-scale farmer organizations to develop agroeological, just and resilient strategies. Ryan also supports non-profits, like the agroforestry crowdfunding platform Grow Ahead.
