COTA welcomes Lawrence MacAulay as the new federal minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food. MacAulay is Prince Edward Island’s longest-serving MP, representing Cardigan for over 25 years. Before entering politics, he was a successful seed potato and dairy farmer. He remains active in P.E.I.’s agricultural community. COTA looks forward to working with MacAulay on issues affecting Canada’s organic sector.
