The National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) will meet to discuss substances petitioned for addition to or deletion from the National List of Allowed and Prohibited Substances (National List), substances due to sunset from the National List in 2026, and recommendations on organic policies.

The Organic Trade Association will again partner with Food Export Mid-West to bring a diverse set of buyers to the show from around the world.

The Buyers Mission will take place March 13-14, 2024, and the larger trade show will take place from March 12 - 16 at the Anaheim Convention Center. 

Buyer profiles will be available soon, and we will have buyers from Aruba, the Dominican Republic, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Guatemala, Japan, Korea, the United Kingdom, and Vietnam! Registration is $150 for all companies and includes pre-arranged 1 on 1 meetings with buyers. You will be able to indicate your preferred meetings based on the buyer profiles in advance of the event. Please note you must have an Expo West show badge to participate.

USDA Agricultural Outlook Forum

The Agricultural Outlook Forum (AOF) is USDA’s largest and premier annual gathering. The breadth and timeliness of the AOF programs have consistently drawn a diverse group of participants, including producers, processors, policymakers, government officials, and non-governmental organizations. It routinely attracts upwards of 1,800 people in person and 4,000-5,000 virtual attendees from the U.S. and around the world.

The 2024 Program will feature a keynote address by Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, a presentation on the outlook for agricultural markets and trade by USDA Chief Economist Seth Meyer, a plenary panel of distinguished guest speakers, and 30 breakout sessions covering a wide range of timely agricultural, food market and environmental issues. More than a hundred experts from government, industry, and academia will share insights on topics such as commodity and food price outlooks, U.S. and global agricultural trade developments, agricultural innovations, climate change, and the bioeconomy.
