The Senate Agriculture Committee held a hearing this past week dedicated to research needs for the 2018 Farm Bill. During the hearing, Ranking Member Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) and Senator Kristen Gillibrand (D-NY) both asked questions on the importance of organic research to USDA staff testifying in front of the committee.
