Speak up for organic where it matters most — on Capitol Hill.

Organic Week 2025 is right around the corner, and we’re inviting all members of the organic community to step into their role as advocates. Join us in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, September 17 for Advocacy Day — a powerful opportunity to meet with lawmakers and help shape the future of organic policy.

In the video below, Ivanna Yang, our Vice President of Government Affairs, shares why your voice matters and how you can make an impact by participating:

What is Advocacy Day?

Advocacy Day connects organic farmers, brands, businesses, and stakeholders directly with their elected officials on Capitol Hill. The Organic Trade Association coordinates meetings for you with your congressional representatives — all you need to do is show up, share your story, and advocate for the issues that matter most to you.

Whether you're a seasoned advocate or brand new to this space, our team will provide you with the tools you need to feel confident and prepared. A Hill Visit Prep Webinar will be held in advance of Organic Week to walk participants through the agenda, expectations, and tips for engaging with policymakers. (More info coming soon.)
