All Natural Dog was founded in 2010 by Dr. Mary Hughes, a retired Nurse Practitioner. Mary is a lifelong animal lover who grew up on a small farm in New Jersey, enjoying the company of dogs, horses, cats, chickens, ducks and a few amphibians.

Our first dog bed, the Sleep In Bed, was created out of necessity for one of our Italian Greyhounds, Noita. She was balding on her belly for no apparent reason in spite of an outstanding diet, frequent exercise and socialization. Knowing how irritating polyester can be, we figured she needed a cotton or natural fabric dog bed. Since no cotton beds were available at the time, we got creative with a home sewing machine and some trendy cotton fabrics. Before long, we realized that conventional cotton is grown and processed with a toxic mix of chemical soup. For this reason, we decided to venture into organic cotton fabrics to create our dog beds.
Combine the need for natural cloth, with a passion for creating new things and an obsession with beautiful fabrics, and suddenly you have a house full of gorgeous dog beds! Of course we had many projects that were not a success in the beginning. Besides being pretty, the beds had to make it through frequent washing, puppy antics and accidents, and old-dog comfort needs. After much sharing and testing by our friends’ dogs, we were compelled to start offering our dog beds for sale.

Along the way we’ve connected with like-minded suppliers dedicated to enriching and preserving the earth with pure, organic goods. We have discovered that organic products are not only healthy for our own pets and household, but they protect farmers and the planet from toxic chemicals. We have teamed up with a professional seamstress in New Jersey to ensure that we always provide high quality, hand sewn products, while promoting goods made in the USA. To maintain integrity and fair pricing, our beds are exclusively sold on this ecommerce website (and our Etsy store).

From our humble beginnings on the shore of Oneida Lake in 1994 we have transformed and evolved into an industry leader – never losing sight of our original commitment to quality ingredients and exceptional customer service.

In 2005, we relocated to a brand new facility in Oneida, NY. Since then, we have more than doubled the size of our original 20,000 square foot building to accommodate our ever growing inventory of spices and ingredients, our climate controlled, sterile manufacturing and distribution center, and our corporate offices.

American Botanicals specializes in American Ginseng and Botanicals. We buy, grow, sell, and manufacture over 200 natural and organic medicinal botanicals. Products are available for wholesale purchase in whole, cut and powder form.

The American Mushroom Institute (AMI) is a national voluntary trade association representing the growers, processors and marketers of cultivated mushrooms in the United States and industry suppliers worldwide. Membership is available to any person interested in the mushroom industry. Categories of membership are grower, associate, professional and retiree.

WHAT ARE AMI’S PURPOSES?
Anticipate and respond to issues affecting mushroom production, processing and marketing;
Monitor and influence legislative and regulatory issues;
Support, analyze and disseminate relevant information such as research, statistics, and innovations in technology;
Develop best practices and training in food safety, integrated pest management and worker safety;
Provide a communications network for all industry partners.
For more than 60 years, the American Mushroom Institute has been a leader for the United States mushroom industry. When an industry speaks with one voice through a trade association, the results are far greater than what could be achieved by any single individual.

We’re a distributor of sweetener products, and part of our product offerings are organic products. I’ll be managing supply chain, which will include customer service, logistics and any other product related tasks.

We want to join OTA to learn more about the organic industry, connect with suppliers and customers, and stay up to date with changes in the industry.
