Zespri growers produce both Green and Gold kiwifruit and approximately 120 growers are dedicated to certified organic production. Zespri Organic kiwifruit is primarily sold in the United States, Japan, Europe and across emerging economies in Asia. The company is also extensively focused on research and development including new variety breeding using only natural breeding techniques as well as developing new knowledge on growing and supply chain practices to enhance the quality, taste, consumer appeal and sustainability of Zespri kiwifruit. Zespri’s organic growers are very passionate about organics and looking after the land and resources and the majority have been certified organic producers since the 1990’s.
