Taste For Life Publications

In the past, people turned to a few trusted sources—like their doctor—for health information. Today, they’re bombarded by advice from 24/7 news cycles and self-proclaimed influencers with questionable credentials.

At Taste for Life, we’re committed to cutting through the noise. We value research, fact-checking, and transparent sourcing—long-standing editorial standards we combine with modern omnichannel content delivery.

Our solutions—delivered through print magazines, digital platforms, and in-store tools—make it easy for brands and retailers to connect with wellness-minded consumers through trustworthy, engaging content.

Our story began several decades ago on the Greek island of Crete, where founder Jim Connell was inspired by the longevity and vitality of the locals. That experience sparked the creation of Taste for Life and remedies magazines and tasteforlife.com, all rooted in evidence-based natural health insights.

Since then, we’ve partnered with businesses nationwide to drive awareness, trust, and results. Our retail partners report product movement increases of 20% to 50% after leveraging our content.

Today’s consumers are seeking credible information on regenerative agriculture, organics, supplements, clean eating, herbs, and sustainability. They’re endlessly curious about a wide range of dietary approaches and remedies to help them optimize their health. Taste for Life’s expansive library of articles and recipes helps you meet that demand and support your customers’ wellness journey—without breaking your marketing budget.

Texas Organic Cotton Marketing Cooperative (TOCMC)

Texas Organic Cotton Marketing Cooperative (TOCMC) members produce the majority of the organic cotton grown in the United States. Most of these organic farmers are located in the South Plains region surrounding Lubbock, Texas, and are certified by the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA).

The cooperative has approximately 40 producer members who plant 10-19,000 acres of organic and transitional cotton each year. In recent years, total annual production on these family farms has ranged from 6,000 to 15,000 bales. Since many of these farms have limited or no irrigation, yields are very rainfall dependent and vary significantly from year to year.

TOCMC members grow other organic crops including peanuts, wheat, corn, blue corn, milo, forage sorghum, soybeans, blackeye peas, and watermelons. Also, the cotton seed, which is separated from the cotton fiber in the ginning process, is marketed to organic dairies for feed.

Textile Exchange

Textile Exchange is a global nonprofit organization that works to make the textile industry more sustainable. We work with everyone involved in making your textiles, including everything from clothes to sheets to towels and more. Together, we’re trying to help the textile world make better decisions so that we’re not only reducing harm to the environment but also bringing about positive change. We identify and share best practices regarding farming, materials and processing so we can reduce the impact on the world’s water, soil, air and human population.
Incorporated in 2002, Textile Exchange works closely with our members and textile industry stakeholders along the entire $1.7 trillion value cycle. TE is headquartered in the US with staff and ambassadors located in eleven countries.

Companies join Textile Exchange because they want to be more sustainable. That can mean they’re brand new to environmentally-conscious practices or they can be further along the sustainability process and want to take things to the next level.

Textile Exchange can provide an initial top-level sustainability assessment for a company in order to develop a long-term plan toward a more sustainable future. This work includes verifying steps of the supply chain in order to demonstrate how the material is sourced and/or grown, processed and manufactured. We work with companies to determine the best fibers and materials to use. We help companies formally trace the integrity of their materials and manufacturing processes so textiles can be properly labeled.

The Country Hen

The Country Hen, located in Hubbardston, MA, supplies supermarkets across the United States with the first commercially produced Organic, Omega-3 enriched egg. George Bass started the farm in 1988, with a goal of using the highest quality organic commodities to produce the world’s best egg. We mill all of our organic feed right here at the farm, exclusively for our hens. This proprietary feed formula produces a large egg with 300 mg of Omega-3s, including LNA, EPA, & DHA, as well as high amounts of Lutein and Choline. We truly understand that only the happiest and healthiest hens will produce the superior quality of our eggs, so we pamper our hens and let them roam freely through spacious, sunlit barns with outdoor porches attached.

For over 100 years, our goal at The DeLong Co., Inc. has been to provide information, products and services to the farming industry. In addition to being a grain elevator and major supplier of food grains domestically and internationally, we also provide seed, fertilizer and chemical inputs and services for growers in Wisconsin and Illinois. We also added corn drying facilities, soybean facilities and more recently, vegetable and specialty Identity Preserved crop programs to our business.
