Martin Group, LLC is a food broker for conventional and organic fruits and vegetables founded in 2001 by Philip Martin. The Martin Group specializes in sourcing and marketing Frozen Fruits and Vegetables. We also source specialty items for our customers, which include juice concentrates, purees, roasted, and reduced moisture items.
With a strong emphasis on quality control, we have aligned ourselves with processors that adhere to the highest quality standards in the industry. We source products for large and small industrial customers, food service operators, and retail store poly bag programs. We also provide our customers with market information, forecasting, and distribution options.

McDonald and Pelz is a cash grain, oilseed, and renewable energy brokerage organization whose aims and goals are to help our customers in the buying and selling of their products.

I am Marie Antoinette McGruder the granddaughter of Marvin McGruder and the great granddaughter of Charles McGruder Jr. He is the original owner of McGruder Land acquired after being freed from slavery as a result of the Emancipation Proclamation of 1862. Starting business ventures and materializing a vision is in my DNA. I have always pursued my dreams and my passions as they have evolved over my lifetime. One of my biggest dreams from the age of eight has been to farm on the land that has been in my family for nearly 160 years. Today I own 10 acres and control more than 74 acres of farmable land and my vision is to develop an infrastructure to grow and market highly desirable nutritious non chemically grown non-GMO produce and other edibles right here on our McGruder family land.

Harris Peterson the founder began working at a young age and helped his father with the farming. He started cleaning seed for himself and neighbors in his spare time and founded the H. A. Peterson Feed and Seed Co. in 1947 when he began processing peas, canary seed, and mustard seed in a quonset. His vision and hard work have moved his seed-processing career from one Forsberg sieve mill and one elevator leg to a multi-million-dollar complex. Minn-Dak Growers Ltd. is now one the most modern and efficient mustard flour mills and buckwheat complexes in North America. It has facilities in Grand Forks, ND, Donaldson, MN, and Dickinson, ND, which supply mustard and buckwheat ingredients to the food industry worldwide.

The company has transitioned ownership from Harris to his son Harold and grandson Jeremy. It is the wishes of these next two generation to carry on the vision that Harris worked so hard to establish. The new vision it to continue on for the next generation.
