Hummingbird Wholesale
Honey Heaven was established in 1972 as a specialty honey shop in Eugene. The business was purchased by Eugene Scott in 1981 and he changed the business focus to wholesale after having trouble with employees eating the product inventory. In August of 2003, Charlie and Julie Tilt purchased the business from Eugene when he retired. We have grown in many ways since then, including selling a greater diversity of products. Consequently, we thought a name change that embodies our spirit would be appropriate. We chose the hummingbird because of its versatility -it flies in all directions- and its gentle nature- it sips the nectar of the flowers without harming the flowers. As of 2007, our name is Hummingbird Wholesale!
Hummingbird Wholesale remains a small, family owned and operated business focused on being a positive force for change in the food industry. Please see below the list of strategies we employ to meet our sustainable business goals.

Hungry Harvest
My senior year at the University of Maryland, Hungry Harvest was born in my dorm basement. We began delivering to our first 30 customers, 15 of which were free trials, in June 2014. The beginning was excruciatingly difficult, as we knocked on doors in the sweltering DC summer desperately trying to convince anyone to get a free trial. The problem was that nobody knew what ‘ugly produce’ was at the time.
This company was in danger of failure at least two times when we had less than $200 in our bank account. We worked 18 hour days to get our customers the right orders. We had doors slammed in our face, and investors laugh at us. In those tough times, the reminder of 20 billion pounds of food going to waste and 50 million people hungry in the US encouraged us to persevere along our journey.
The struggles of the first year were vindicated on June 17, 2015, when we made a deal with Robert Herjavec on Shark Tank. The tears shed on the show were raw emotion, as I flashed back to just how far we had come. The struggles were worth it.
Fast forward to today, we're four years old, with a team of over 40, spread across nine states with a HQ located in City Garage, Baltimore. Together, we have already reduced over 12 million pounds of food from going to the landfill and provided access to over 915,000 pounds of produce through reduced-cost markets and donations to people in need. And we’re just getting started.
Everything we do is driven by the belief that every person has the right to eat healthy and every fruit and veggie grown deserves to be eaten. We won't stop until that belief becomes reality.

IMA Nourish LLC
At IMA Nourish, we believe the postpartum phase is just as critical as pregnancy when it comes to a mother’s health and well-being. “IMA” comes from the Hebrew word for “mom,” symbolizing the care, love, and nourishment that are at the core of our mission. This meaningful word is also used in other cultures, such as Kapampangan (a Filipino dialect), to lovingly refer to mothers, reinforcing the universal connection to motherhood that inspires everything we do.
Motherhood is a beautiful, demanding journey. From feeding and caring for little ones to managing household responsibilities and trying to heal, moms are often left with little time to focus on themselves. This can make it easy to reach for quick, convenient options that aren’t always tailored to their unique postpartum needs.
In many cultures, postpartum care is treated with great reverence. Mothers are supported with warmth and intention—belly binding, nourishing broths, teas, and tinctures are integral to their recovery. Inspired by this global wisdom, IMA Nourish aims to bring the same level of care and seriousness to modern postpartum nutrition.
That’s why we use organic, natural ingredients, sourcing nutrient-dense elements like seeds, grains, and nuts to create our signature cake pops. Packed with ingredients traditionally used to support lactation, like flaxseed, brewer’s yeast, and oats, etc. each bite is intentionally crafted to help mothers recover, recharge, and feel nourished.
IMA Nourish isn’t just about providing a treat—it’s about honoring the postpartum journey, offering mothers a simple way to prioritize their health while caring for their little ones.
Because we believe moms deserve the same care and nourishment they give so selflessly every day.

Interlake Forage Seeds LTD.
Interlake Forage Seeds Ltd. (IFS) is located in Fisher Branch, Manitoba. North of Winnipeg, and between two large freshwater lakes, Fisher Branch is an agricultural based community. IFS works with experienced forage seed growers in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Together we produce high quality seeds to some of the most demanding specifications in the industry. We have unparalleled production expertise in the production of alfalfa seed. We are successful in multiplying proprietary 99.90% purity alfalfa and we have the ability to multiply up to 7 dormancy alfalfa. Our multi-leaf alfalfa varieties have high relative feed values; their dark green colour and high multi-leaf expression are our selling features.
IFS is also a leader in birdsfoot trefoil seed production. We strive to maintain a close working relationship with our growers to overcome the problems associated with the production of this dynamic seed crop. IFS is also devoted to native species and medicinal plant development. We work with specialized growers in the production of these grasses and forbs. Our newest research effort is to develop agronomy systems for certified organic forage seed production for the international market. We are proud to use CSI (Canadian Seed Institute) as our primary certifier. We have over a dozen experienced organic seed growers in this industry. Although there have been challenges in the production of many forage species, we do have many success stories with organic timothy, alfalfa, double cut red clover and sweet clover.
IFS exports seed to several locations in the US, Europe and Asia. Our forages are used in hay and pasture lands. Our seed is known for yield, quality, and persistence. Many of our forages have been multiplied locally, and have proven to withstand harsh winters. Our native seeds are used for riparian area management, and reclamation projects in many different projects globally.
