Once Upon a Farm was founded with the dream of providing yummy and nutritious “farm-to-family” foods to kids of all ages. This was the goal from the very start in 2015, as we began making cold-pressed, organic baby food and applesauces that parents would prefer over the highly-processed, shelf-stable alternatives.

The Oregon Organic Coalition (OOC) works to advance the development and growth of the organic industry, practices, and community in Oregon.

The OOC was founded by organic trade leaders in 2004 to build unified support for organic advocacy. The OOC has brought together organic farmers, businesses, affiliated organizations, and other stakeholders, to provide direction and advocacy, and to support efforts that promote and grow organic trade and farming practices in Oregon and beyond.

Broadly, the OOC also contributes to regional advocacy efforts and sees the Pacific Northwest as having great potential for being a world leader in organic and regenerative agriculture, with diverse crop offerings. And when rooted in organic’s core principles of health, ecology, fairness, and care, the OOC believes organic production can create more equitable and resilient regional food systems.

Oregon Tilth is a leading nonprofit certifier, educator and advocate for organic agriculture and products since 1974. Our mission to make our food system and agriculture biologically sound and socially equitable requires us to find practical ways to tackle big challenges. We advance this mission to balance the needs of people and planet through focus on core areas of certification, conservation, social equity, policy and the marketplace.

In 1997, Oregon Tilth helped form the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI), evaluating materials for use in organic farms and processors nationally. Today, Oregon Tilth is the third largest USDA accredited organic certifier, serving over 1,450 processors and growers, restaurants and retailers representing the entire food chain, from seed to fork.

As certified organic farmers since 2002, our regenerative practices heal the land and water and sequester carbon from the atmosphere, while ensuring that pure, potent herbal medicine is available today and for future generations.

The Organic Association of Kentucky (OAK) is a nonprofit organization founded by farmers, for farmers. OAK works to advance organic regenerative agriculture, to improve the health of the environment and our communities. Growing ecological resilience, economic viability and socially just futures for Kentucky farmers through educational, technical and market resources. We believe that organic agriculture improves environmental resilience and conservation, nurtures human and community health and is a powerful driver of regional prosperity.

OAK provides educational programming for farmers, agricultural professionals and community members to increase the adoption of organic practices through an annual conference, monthly field days, on-farm technical assistance and local market development.

The Organic Consulting Firm (The OCF) is an international company providing full service evaluation, development, training, and verification to many organic standards, including USDA, JAS, IFOAM, EU, CAAQ, and others. Our services are tailored to meet the needs of crop & livestock producers, processors, retail stores, and personal care & cosmetic manufacturers. The Organic Consulting Firm is located in Southern California, traveling globally.

Our founding dates back to a 5th generation family cotton farm in the Northwest Texas county of Lubbock.

In 1991, this farm became one of the first certified organic farms in the country. Despite this achievement of bringing back pesticide­ free organic cotton to the US, almost all of the fiber from the early organic farms was bought by large corporations, and blended with conventional cotton. These companies were able to meet their “green goals”, but it left small businesses who wanted to commit to 100% organic cotton products empty handed.

As a result, Organic Cotton Plus became a sister company of the farm­ used to set aside organic cotton bales to create 100% certified fabrics for individuals and small businesses. We shipped these bales to be contract-spun into yarn, then woven into fabric, and finished with just a natural scour wash. We ended up with beautiful 100% organic fabric ready to ship to all the small businesses and individuals that needed it.

Today, through production both in the US and overseas, we have increased our line of fabrics to include knits, eco­dyed fabrics, notions, and much more. In addition, we became the first fabric retailer in the U.S. to be fully GOTS-certified­ right through packing in our warehouse.

From finding ways to weave and knit new organic fabrics, to sourcing notions like coconut buttons and colorful ribbons,­ crafting and manufacturing projects are what drive us every day. With low prices, maintaining a huge (and growing!) selection, and making sure we have the best certification and eco-­credentials in the industry, we couldn’t be happier coming to work each day knowing that our customers are making the world a cleaner and healthier place with each purchase.

The Organic Products Exporters of New Zealand Inc. (OPENZ) is a network of organic businesses, research institutions, consultancies and certifiers.

OFARM coordinates efforts of producer marketing groups to benefit and sustain organic producers; facilitates the exchange of pricing and marketing information among member organizations; helps manage organic marketing responsibly.

Establish and maintain sustainable prices for organic farm production through coordinated efforts of organic farmer cooperative marketing groups while protecting and defending the organic standards and promoting environmentally friendly production practices.

As consultants, we provide solutions for businesses that need help navigating organic certifications for USDA Organic, EU Organic, Mexico’s Ley de Productos Orgánicos, OMRI, CDFA OIM, and the Global Organic Textile Standard.

Organic Partners International, LLC (Organic Partners) brings together a powerful network of Organic Sourcing Agents and Primary Suppliers of Organic Ingredients for Industrial Bulk Buyers. The market for Organic products is exploding as mainstream manufacturers and retailers join the traditional organic leaders in the marketplace. The major brake on this growth is the lack of sufficient and reliable supplies of ingredients. Organic Partners has been formed to fill this void.

The Organic Plus Trust Inc., (“OPT”) is a new “public benefit” company, with Organic and Trust at its center. Our charter dedicates OPT to benefitting public health by expanding the existing federal organic production and handling standards and the related verification tools, to meet evolving business and consumer preferences.

Organic farming practices transformed agriculture and together with organic handling and product design, transformed the world of food. The existing organic practices are OPT’s conformance baseline. But organic practices are continually evolving. OPT cooperatively develops new farm-level standards, post-harvest standards, and standards of identity for processed products that expand, strengthen and capture the evolution of organic requirements in every area impacted by organic principles.

The USDA Organic seal is a shared brand built on consumer preferences and trust. The backbone of organic trust is the federal, third-party certification requirement. We believe consumers rightfully hold every organic farm, business and product to that trust baseline. But many organic farmers and businesses and their consumers hold organic to emerging and higher baselines than the federal certification program can or will. OPT exists for the higher-baseline consumer and the farmers and businesses that seek them. OPT raises the trust baseline by working with the existing system of federal certifying bodies and giving them innovative tools for assuring product compliance.
